Session Attendance

Mark attendance for every session, track participation rates, and monitor athlete commitment over time.

2 min readUpdated May 19, 2026

Attendance tracking lets you record who showed up to each session and build a participation history across your season. Over time, this data reveals commitment patterns and helps you make informed decisions about playing time and development priorities.

Mark attendance

Open any session and expand the Attendance panel. The panel shows a roster of athletes linked to the session.

For each athlete, set a status:

StatusWhen to use
PresentAttended the session
LateArrived after the session started
AbsentDid not attend without a reason
InjuredCould not attend due to injury
ExcusedHad a valid reason for missing

Tap an active status again to clear it and return the athlete to unmarked.

Use the notes field on any athlete to add context -- for example, "Left early with ankle pain" or "Away for school tournament."

Build the roster

There are two ways to populate a session's attendance roster:

  • Link an athlete List -- Connect a List (e.g., "U16 Boys") and all its members are automatically added to the attendance roster. If you add new athletes to the List later, they'll appear in future sessions too.
  • Add individually -- Search and add specific athletes one at a time.

For large rosters (more than five athletes), a search bar appears so you can find players by name, jersey number, or position.

Bulk actions

Save time with bulk operations:

  • Mark all as present -- One click to mark every unmarked athlete as present. Useful when almost everyone showed up and you only need to change a few.
  • Mark all as absent -- The opposite -- start from absent and mark individuals present as they arrive.

View attendance rates

Attendance data rolls up to each athlete's profile. On the profile page, you'll see:

  • Attendance rate -- Percentage of sessions attended, shown as an overall figure.
  • Time filter -- Switch between all-time and last-30-day views to spot recent trends.

List-level attendance summaries are also available, showing aggregate participation rates across all members.

Attendance on all plans

Attendance tracking is available on every plan, including Free. There are no limits on how many sessions you can track attendance for.

Email progress reports (which include attendance data) require a Pro or Club plan.
