Calendar Overview

Schedule sessions and events with week and month views, drag-and-drop, and recurring event support.

3 min readUpdated May 22, 2026

The calendar is where your session plans meet the real-world schedule. Use it to map out practices, games, and team events across your season.

Week and month views

Toggle between week and month views using the controls at the top of the calendar. Week view gives you a detailed daily breakdown -- ideal for the current training block. Month view shows the bigger picture so you can spot gaps or overloaded weeks at a glance.

Schedule sessions

Unscheduled sessions appear in a side panel next to the calendar. Drag a session onto any date to schedule it. You can also move already-scheduled sessions between dates by dragging them directly on the calendar.

Create events

Not everything on your calendar is a practice session. Click any date to create a standalone event. Choose from the built-in event types:

  • Game Day -- match or competition. Game Day events have dedicated Opponent and Competition fields (League, Cup, Friendly, Tournament, or Playoff), which render as badges on the event card.
  • Tournament -- multi-game event spanning one or more days.
  • Practice -- general training not tied to a session plan.
  • Travel -- transit days for away fixtures.
  • Rest Day -- planned recovery or off days.
  • Camp -- training camps or clinics.
  • Tryout -- evaluation sessions for new players.
  • Meeting -- team meetings, parent meetings, or staff syncs.
  • Custom -- anything else you need to track.

Each event type has its own color, making it easy to scan the calendar and understand the week's rhythm.

Pick a match-day squad

Game-day and tournament events carry an extra action. Open the event's actions menu and click Manage Lineup to open the lineup builder and pick your match-day squad -- starting units, bench, availability, and minutes. The Manage Lineup item only appears on fixtures, not on training sessions or other event types. See Match-Day Lineups for the full workflow.

Import fixtures from ICS

If your league or federation publishes a fixture list as a calendar feed, you can bulk-import the whole season instead of typing each game by hand. Click Import Fixtures in the calendar header to upload an .ics file or paste a calendar feed URL (https://... or webcal://...). You'll see a preview of every fixture before anything is added, and re-importing the same feed is safe -- existing fixtures are deduplicated.

For the full walkthrough, see Importing Fixtures from ICS.

Recurring events

Pro and Club plans support recurring events for regular commitments -- for example, "Tuesday and Thursday practice, 4-6 PM." Set a recurrence pattern when creating an event and the platform generates entries across your selected date range. Edit or cancel individual occurrences without affecting the rest of the series.

Pro: Recurring events save the most time when your schedule is predictable — set "Tuesday/Thursday practice" once and the whole term fills in automatically. Compare plans

Season plan overlay

If you've set up a season plan, its phases (pre-season, competition, recovery, etc.) appear as a color-coded overlay on the calendar. This keeps periodization visible while you schedule day-to-day activities.

Calendar in team workspaces

When you switch to a team workspace, the calendar becomes a shared schedule:

  • Shared view -- All team members see every event created within the team, giving everyone a single source of truth for the season schedule.
  • Create and edit -- Coaches and admins can create, edit, and delete any team event. Assistants can only edit events they created themselves. Viewers have read-only access.
  • Recurring events -- Available when the team owner is on a Pro or Club plan, even if individual coaches are on Free plans.

Events created in a team workspace are scoped to that team. Switch back to your personal workspace to manage your own calendar independently.

Calendar event limits

Free accounts can create up to 5 calendar events. Pro and Club plans have no limit.
